It sucks when no one is here

So, this is my second blog talking about why things suck right now. Right now, it's MLK weekend, which means a long weekend, and pretty much everyone has gone home except for a few people who, like myself, live too far away to go home for a few days.

I've decided I'll probably just update every weekend, that way I don't get distracted from school and such. My classes are going real well so far. I don't have any homework really in any of them, and it's so different from last semester. Even though I only had one class that I had homework for, I got it everyday, so to have gotten only one homework assignment so far is something different.

I bought a Brita pitcher on Friday because the water down here tastes nasty and I want to stop using water bottles. I drank about three pitchers yesterday. Water is delicious. I feel like I don't really have much more to say so I might start rambling sometime soon. So I'm going to end this post here. I've got a few Bushisms from this week for y'all.

Monday January 14th:
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

Tuesday January 15th:
"One of my hardest parts of my job is to console the family members who have lost their life."

Wednesday January 16th:
"Home is important. It's important to have a home."

Thanks for reading!

Saturdays kinda suck

Well today is Saturday obviously, and they kinda suck. I stayed up till about 1 playing "Rock Band" with Josh, one of my neighbors. "Rock Band" is a very interesting game basically what it is is you've got two people with fake guitars, then somebody with a fake drumset, then somebody with a microphone and then you rock out. It really is a lot of fun. Propz to my mom for getting me that for Christmas. But then after that we started watching "War," with Jet Li, but Josh forgot I went to go see that with him so we stopped watching that then started watching "The One," also with Jet Li, and we ended up finishing that around like 3:30 or somewhere around there. But as I was saying Saturdays suck because there is nothing to do, the cable is out in my room, that's a long story, and i can only watch all my movies so many times before they get really old. I just got done watching "Gossip Girl" and "Friday Night Lights" so now I have nothing to do and I'm now starting to sound like a broken record. I seem to have a habit of doing that lately. Anyways I believe I shall go now and find some way to amuse myself, I think it might involve "Rock Band." ROCK ON!!!

EDIT:
I just looked over at my Page-A-Day calendar (I got the Bushisms/Countdown to Bush's last day in office calendar) and I saw the one from yesterday which I thought was excellent, it reads...

"Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB/GYN's aren't able to practice their love with women all across the country."

God Bless our President
